E’ Grecia, e’ Athene, e’ festa, si parte!!

Emozionati, un lungo inverno a preparare la stagione che verrà, grandi aspettative, vecchi amici che tornano, nuovi amici che ci aspettano.

Quindi, eccoci qui, Catamarano Lagoon 43 “REA” nuova (2026) nuovo lay-out, società di Charter con ottimi servizi con la quale collaboriamo da alcuni anni, salpiamo da Alimos Marina, equipaggio Danese (Nils e famiglia) ben rodato da altre esperienze in Italia e che quest’anno “finalmente” ha accettato di seguire il nostro consiglio e venire in Grecia per inaugurare “The Great Season” sulla rotta da Athene verso il golfo di Saronicco, viviteremo e ci fermeremo tra le Isole di Egina, Poros, la mitica Hydra di Leonard Coen e Spetses. Saremo davvero pochi su questa rotta solitamente molto utilizzata in estate da chi naviga partendo da Athene, rispetto alle Cicladi è più riparata dal Meltemi, negli ultimi anni abbiamo imparato a conoscerla, bene, ed è stato amore a prima vista, inizialmente la pensavamo meno interessante per una vacanza in barca a vela ma ci siamo immediatamente ricreduti. Da Alimos marina a Poros e in un pomeriggio sei catapultato in un altro mondo, prima notte, tutto ha un sapore di inizio stagione, bar e taverne indossano il vestito più bello e accolgono marinai e avventori della prima ora, è sabato sera, godiamo di questa stagione fuori dal caos estivo, ormeggiati lungo la banchina dei nottambuli lasciamo che piacevoli pensieri ci avvolgano, che le melodie Greche ci catturino, siamo qui, ora.

Per chi non le conosce … Ok, non sono le Cicladi casette bianche finestre e blu tramonti rosa…etc .. ma fidatevi, scegliete questa rotta senza indugio, scegliete un buon skipper che conosca i segreti di queste isole a due passi dalla metropoli e lasciatevi conquitare.

Per scaramanzia non diciamo molto sulle condizioni meteo che verranno, vi basti sapere che l’atmosfera è sui 20 gradi così come la temperatura del mare, poco vento cielo azzurro, tanto basta. Inauguriamo la stagione nel migliore dei modi, vi aspettiamo, qui, fatevi felici, noi lo siamo.

Excited, a long winter preparing for the coming season, great expectations, old friends returning, new friends waiting for us.
So, here we are, a new (2026) Lagoon 43 "REA" catamaran with a new layout, a charter company with excellent services we've been working with for several years, setting sail from Alimos Marina, with a Danish crew (Nils and family) well-tested from other experiences in Italy, who this year "finally" agreed to take our advice and come to Greece to inaugurate "The Great Season" on the route from Athens to the Saronic Gulf. We'll spend time and stop between the islands of Aegina, Poros, Leonard Coen's legendary Hydra, and Spetses. There will be very few of us on this route, usually very popular in the summer for those sailing from Athens. Compared to the Cyclades, it is more sheltered from the Meltemi winds. In recent years, we have gotten to know it well, and it was love at first sight. Initially, we thought it less interesting for a sailing holiday, but we immediately changed our minds. From Alimos Marina to Poros, and in one afternoon you are catapulted into another world. First night, everything has a taste of the beginning of the season. Bars and tavernas don their finest attire and welcome sailors and early-birds. It's Saturday evening. Let's enjoy this season away from the summer chaos. Moored along the night owls' quay, let pleasant thoughts envelop us, let Greek melodies captivate us. We are here, now.
For those unfamiliar with them... Okay, they're not the Cyclades, with their white houses, blue windows, pink sunsets, etc., but trust me, choose this route without hesitation, choose a good skipper who knows the secrets of these islands just a stone's throw from the metropolis, and let yourself be won over.
To avoid superstition, we won't say much about the upcoming weather conditions. Suffice it to say that the atmosphere is around 20 degrees, as is the sea temperature, light wind, blue skies—that's enough. We're kicking off the season in the best possible way. We're waiting for you here. Make yourself happy, we are.
